First Baptist is a small Baptist Church whose extended membership is about 100 people. First Baptist is located five miles from the Interstate 95 corridor between Richmond, Va., and Washington, D.C. The membership of First Baptist represents a cross- section of the African American community. Many members hold government jobs in Washington, D.C. First Baptist is a member of the Mattaponi Baptist Association. We follow the guidance of the National Baptist Association USA, Incorporated.
